In A Nutshell
I was married for 45 years and throughout that time we always acted as a team. My wife did the cooking and I did the laundry, for example. It's hard to describe my own qualities, but my daughter says my greatest attributes are sharing, caring and trying to find a little humor in everything. I have virtually no temper (never had) and I try to be honest in everything I do. My passions in life are Travel, Trains, and Architecture. I've spent 45 years as an architect in Wisconsin and, even though I'm "retired", I still like to do a small project now and then.
The One I Am Looking For
My ideal partner would be someone that finds a little humor throughout the day, is very low tempered and very patient. She would like to remain active but at a slower pace than 40 years ago. Politically she has to be someone that is either middle of the road or liberal. Someone that is willing to live on a modest retirement income would be a definite plus. I am a moderately active Catholic and, while I don't care what religion, if any, this person would need to accept me as I am.
I'd Just Like to Add
I would love to find someone that enjoys traveling by car or train to explore the country. Possibly a cruise to Alaska or a trip to a Caribbean or Central American country - just once. And at home in the evenings she would enjoy just relaxing and watching a little TV or read or anything we could do together. The secret to a great relationship, in my experience, is to have at least some common interests, mellow temperaments, and just generally enjoy being together.
